Nicholas M. West
Nick West serves as founding principal and managing partner for Foundry Investment Group. Nick oversees day-to-day activities of the company with a focus on originations, capital relationships and deal review and structuring. Foundry currently has ~$145 million in projects completed or in construction. Prior to starting Foundry, Nick was with Compass Real Estate, a private equity firm, deploying equity capital through two Funds into a $650+ million diversified real estate portfolio which included self-storage, hospitality, retail, student housing, senior housing, and office. Before Compass, Nick served as Atlanta’s real estate office head for BDO Consulting’s Real Estate Analytics Group where he provided consulting services related to asset/portfolio acquisitions for private and public companies both nationally and internationally. Nick is a graduate of the University of Georgia and earned his Masters of Science Real Estate degree from Georgia State University. He also holds an MAI designation and currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters.
Bradley R. Dannenbaum
Brad Dannenbaum serves as co-founder and partner for Foundry Investment Group. Brad is responsible for enumerable aspects of Foundry while primarily focusing on deal originations and review. Prior to joining Foundry, Brad served as the Head of Real Estate for SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc., formerly John Deere Landscapes, with over 700 locations in the US/Canada and a market cap of $10.5B (NYSE: SITE). Prior to SiteOne, Brad served as Director of Real Estate for TMX Finance, Inc., a $1B, privately held, retail conglomerate with close to 1,500 locations. During his tenure at TMX, he represented ~$100M in real estate transactions both on the acquisition and disposition side of the deal. Before TMX Finance, Brad served as an Investment Advisor for Shane Investment Property Group and as Real Estate Manager for Waffle House, Inc. During his time at Shane and WaffleHouse Brad specialized in the sale of stabilized retail assets around the Southeast, and in identifying and developing new sites across the United States. Brad is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a BBA in Real Estate and Finance before going on to earn an MBA from Kennesaw State University. Brad currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and son.
Bryan H. Russell, PE
Bryan Russell, PE, serves as Director of Pre-Construction for Foundry InvestmentGroup. Bryan focuses on site development design and entitlement process from the pre-construction process through opening. Bryan has over 25 years of experience as managing principal of multi-discipline civil design firm, Contineo Group, focusing on development projects of various asset classes across 25 states domestically and 5 countries internationally. His primarily role at Contineo Group is to head the program management and entitlement services team. Bryan’s management experience includes leading teams on US and international development projects involving infrastructure and master planning and design, feasibility studies, sustainable design principals, program management and building construction. Sample projects/programs include site design for Atlantic Station ($500M project) and management of design and entitlement of over 700 Waffle House locations across 25 states. Bryan is a graduate of University of Alabama where he earned a BS in Civil Engineering. Bryan is a licensed Professional Engineer in more than 25 states.
Ron Crump, PE
Ron Crump, PE, serves as Director of Site Design for Foundry Investment Group. Ron focuses on site design from the pre-construction process through opening. Ron has 20 years of experience as the design principal at a multi-discipline, Contineo Group, privately held civil engineering firm specializing in large scale projects. Ron is regarded as an expert in erosion control, with locally and nationally recognized certifications, including Certified Professional inErosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and a Certified Professional in StormWater Quality (CPSWQ), and is a certified State of Georgia Erosion Control Trainer. Sample projects/programs include Hard Rock Resort Panama, Panama ($200M) and managing design and entitlement efforts for over 40 Wal-Mart properties across 22 states. Ron is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with where he earned a BS in Civil Engineering. Ron is a licensed Professional Engineer in more than 25 states.
Bob Dannenbaum
Bob Dannenbaum specializes in market research, analysis, deal sourcing and due diligence in markets throughout the Southeast. Prior to joining Foundry, Bob spent the majority of his career as an executive on the operations side of the transportation and logistics industry managing national accounts for both private and publicly traded companies. Bob is a graduate of the University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL.
